Girl Scout cookie crack
Back at home the folks at work were raving about Girl Scout cookies and how addictive they were and how very delicious they are and blah blah blah (damn rotten gluten filled goodness.....). Anyway, yesterday I was at a local shopping centre and finally saw a troop of real live American Girl Scouts selling cookies so I just had to get a box to try them out (gluten be damned!). And they were delicious!!! AND not only that but I got a little song from them after I handed over my cash. They all clapped and sang "thank you, thank you, we appreciate you". Pretty funny really. Anyway the cookies didn't last long. The End.

I HAVE TAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE TAB!!!!!! Well I had Tab as this post was in my drafts and I forgot to post it so it's a couple of weeks ago now. I've been looking for Tab for a long, long time.
The last time that I remember having Tab was when we lived in Israel when I was about 7 or 8 although I might have had it later than that but that's the time that I strongly associate with this drink. And finding it now and having a sip makes me remember that time so clearly. For some reason that I can't remember now I used to run away to this lady named Lynne's house (well I think that's her name). I can't remember why I did that but one of the things I do remember is that she would give me a Tab. Thinking back on it now I musta been a pain in the butt turning up on this lady's doorstep unannounced. I remember that she would do craft things like making popsicle yarn wheels with me (probably while wishing my parents would hurry up and pick me up). I can't imagine what my parents would think waking up on the weekends to find me gone. I'm assuming that she'd call them when I rocked up at the door. I have two Polaroid photos taken at her house with me in my favourite blue and red knickerbocker pants so it isn't just a figment of my imagination.
The other thing that drinking Tab reminded me of (because I was already thinking about Israel) is when they tarred the road outside our house. It was a dirt road and at some point they tarred and rocked the road and even to this day whenever I smell tar it reminds me of that time. After it was done Seb and I would sit on the sidewalk and play with the sticky tar and rocks and get our fingers all sticky and covered in black goo. Anyway... just thought I'd share that I had TAB!! :)

BIGGEST POTATO EVER!
There's a place at Myrtle Beach called McAlisters Deli and they serve the most massive stuffed potatoes I have ever seen! They have different types of toppings n stuff but I chose the Black Angus Roast Beef Spud with cheese and behold! One massive potato about the size of a shoe! I could only eat about half of it in the one sitting it was that big but soooo yummy :) I think McAlisters Deli is on my list of things that need to be imported to Australia.

Uh oh, I'm in trouble now....
I'm a bit of a late convert to YouTube, mostly because I've had dialup internet until September last year so it kinda sucks watching YouTube vids that buffer every 30 seconds. So since I've had the super fast interwebs I've become addicted to YouTube videos. This is not why I'm in trouble mind you. One of the channels that I like to watch recently posted a lil vid of a cereal shopping expedition and this is why I'm in trouble...
THEY MAKE REECES PUFFS CEREAL IN THE USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As in Reeces Pieces Peanut Butter cups cereal..... oh my goodness.... AND they look like they're sorta gluten free as they're made from corn... but it's the ole "may contain wheat" thing so I will be trying it and will suffer the consequences! Stay tuned to find out :)

Its official!
My leave applications were approved today so I really am going. I've got my flights booked and I've got a month to pay for them which is good because I keep changing my mind on the europe leg. But I really am going. Its actually gonna happen! I've started my packing and culling and selling. I'm hoping to be out of my place in a month and have my place rented out... That's the plan anyway. We'll see eh?
