Hotel Room Art - VEGAS!! (Las Vegas, Nevada)

So after San Fran I made a stop in Bakersfield but totally forgot to take a pic for the Hotel Art :( It wasn't much to write home about and Bakersfield was pretty blah too. I think I just couldn't wait to get out of California. Everything is expensive including gas which is between 20 and 80 cents more expensive than the rest of the country (the average was about 60 cents more).

So heading westwards towards the ultimate destination of the Grand Canyon skywalk (haha what a joke - see later posts about this grand disappointment) I arrived in Vegas!! The first night I stayed at the Travellodge on Vegas Boulevard but it was too far away from everything so I splashed out and stayed at The Mirage casino which was beautiful!! So this episode of Hotel Art is actually a Hotel Room Art as the decor was just lovely. What wasn't so lovely was the bar fridge which had the items weighted so that if you even picked something up your room was automatically billed for it. But I was careful so no extra charges :P
