Its not the destination its the stops in between

So today was a a pretty cool day. I finally made it to the Unclaimed Baggage Center which was pretty cool.Very popular place and stacks of people there combing the racks for bargains. I didn't actually get anything but it was neat to have a look at all the stuff that they had. There were certainly a lot of bargains (and really weird things) but I'm not after anything at the moment cuz I'm just going to have to cart it around.

I'm staying in Huntsville, Alabama which is a really nice place and I'm going to stay here for a couple of days and have a look around the area. Scottsboro was only 40 mins away from here. On the way to Scottsboro I passed this interesting place which was on the other side of the highway so I checked it out on the way back. It was amazing. This is the sign that caught my eye and it certainly delivered what it promised.

I had a long chat to the proprietor Chip and he was chocked full of questions about Australia. Apparently he'd had a kiwi come through 3 weeks ago but could hardly understand what he was saying haha! I bought a few really interesting things from the shop for Christmas prezzies so some lucky people will be receiving something in the mail shortly :) There were so many unique things in this place which he gets at flea markets and consignment sales. I can't really explain the place so I'm going to have to let the photos speak for themselves. You can click them to enlarge.

Tomorrow I'm going to check out the Huntsville Botanical Gardens because with all this driving I need to be outside and walk for a loooooong time! There's also some interesting historical sites that I'm going to check out too so will check in tomorrow to tell you all about it.
