At the beach

I couldn't update the blog yesterday as I was in a really crappy reception area so you get yesterday's news today. I'm still in Myrtle Beach, South California which is lovely. It's off peak season so there aren't a lot of people here and a lot of things are closed and strangely enough I keep getting the feeling I'm in Santa Cruz from the Lost Boys movie with all the closed or dilapidated fun fair stuff. Haven't been bitten by a vampire yet haha. Anyway I splashed out for a swanky hotel by the beach last night which was just lovely. Went for a looooong walk up the beach and back just before sunset and took some pics.

The remnants of a kids sandcastle fun.

This cute lil guy kept following me, or maybe we were just headed in the same direction, who knows.

There were heaps of dead jellies on the beach

that little black speck in the top righthand corner is actually a helicopter :)

And today I went to check out the Apache pier which is the longest wooden pier on the east coast so here's the view from the end of it.
