South Carolina Aquarium & Fort Sumter

It's pretty crappy weather here at the moment so its not really an outdoorsy kinda day so I thought I'd go to the aquarium as they have one of 50 rare albino American alligators held in captivity. After that I headed on a ferry over to Fort Sumter but my camera carked it so I didn't get pics. You'da thought I'd have learned after the Savannah historic district when I did the same thing but nuuuuuu.

I really like South Carolina, its really pretty here. I had a lil COPS moment driving in here though. I'm driving along the highway doing the speed limit just minding my own business when I notice cops behind me in the left lane (I was in the right). So I think no problemo, I'm doing the speed limit, its cool. And they speed up a lil bit to pass me and then all of a sudden slow riiiight down so that they're behind me again and just hang there. I'm freaking out thinking WHAT NOW????????!!!!! They sit there in my blind spot for about 20 seconds as we're driving along and then finally they speed up and pass me and head down the road. PHEW!!!! friggin cops.  The other thing about SC is the smell, it smells different here. I have no idea how to describe it but it's strange.

At first I thought this guy was stuffed but then he crapped out the biggest bald eagle shit to prove he wasn't :)

I could not capture this guy cuz he kept zooming past too quickly. A lil shawk

One of the people near me said he was sleeping but I think he was dead. Just lying there not moving. I dunno if turtles sleep or not but...?

Love the underside faces on these rays

This is the roof in the main entrance hall

I couldn't get a good shot of these two owls because my camera kept focusing on the mesh in front of them but they were so cute and little :)

A rare headless turtle ;)

The rare albino crocodile, he looked bored out of his mind quite frankly.
