I'm still in Charleston, South Carolina and I couldn't really decide what to do today. I went to a new hotel cuz the last one was a little noisy as it was next to a train yard and this new place is nice and the receptionist was really lovely and very talkative. She recommended that I go check out the Magnolia Plantation which was about 15 mins away. I'm glad I did because it was just stunning. I spent a couple of hours walking around the huge plantation and their little petting zoo and I took stacks of photos but I won't bore you with all of them, just a select few. (ie thats code for a whole bunch)
Screeching owls! damn mesh again tho... |
This lil guy kept following me around the pet zoo enclosure, I will call him Thanksgiving :) |
a bobcat (who did a little too much pacing for my liking, musta been bored out of his skull) |
Duck, duck, goose! |
This was like a deer cuddle :) |
A horned owl! |
Goose, duck, duck! |
An albino racoon (who also had a pacing problem) |
my lil mate Thanksgiving again |
what, you leaving us?? |
The plantation house |
was being spied upon by a lil fuzzy friend |
You know that if there's an owl about, I'll find it :) |
If you look closely you'll see a massive spider. I couldn't get a really clear pic of him but he was hiding in the observation tower |
Out of all the places they could have put the bridge it just HAD to be around a tree... mkay |
On the way back to my car I got a peacock escort, 3 males and 5 females walked me to my car |
who's a pretty boy then :) |
