On Sunday there was a pretty fierce storm out here and the waves actually looked like Australian waves for once :) No glass in sight haha. Did a bit of shopping and had a bit of a lazy day as there was no point in doing anything with the storm on. The next day I checked out Duck and Carolla up north on the Outer Banks and stopped in on the Currittuck Beach lighthouse which was unfortunately closed for the season (as much is at this time of year). I couldn't get a good pic of it as the whole grounds were closed unlike other lighthouses in the area (see later blogs).
